Increase in Local Union Dues
In accordance with Section 18 of the Constitution and General Laws, and
Article XII of our Local’s By-Laws, the Local Union Dues rates for the active
members are being adjusted effective November 1, 2011, as Union Dues
shall increase by 1.5% ($1.16), based on our increase in wage.
Therefore, effective November 1, 2011, Local Union Dues shall be increased
from $77.54 per month, to $78.70 per month. This amount does not include the
monthly assessment for: Arbitrations,
General Fund Assessment and Death Assessments.
Also, please note: Due to the above
mentioned increase, the Local Union Dues rate each member pays when on the
status of Long-Term Sick, Long-Term Industrial Injury, Maternity Leave, or
Military Leave will also increase from $43.77 to $44.35 (1/2 of their Union
Dues and the General Fund Assessment), effective November 1, 2011.
